But hardly anyone knows that <strong>KOHLHAGE<\/strong> E-Tech currently produced the roof frame for the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>How did it come about? A little over a year ago, <strong>KOHLHAGE<\/strong> E-Tech was able to take over the production know-how of Pfeiffer Biegetechnik from Finnentrop as part of an asset deal. Pfeiffer Biegetechnik, formerly known as a machine builder for stretch-bending machines, had already supplied machines for the production of body components for the market launch of the AMG GT in 2014. Tunnel beams, front wall elements, cross members and roof frames have been produced on these machines.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><div  class='flex_column av-1zv0mo-d9d094e8eafb1496b9a86fe1ae324897 av_one_half  avia-builder-el-3  el_after_av_one_half  el_before_av_one_full  flex_column_div  '     ><section  class='av_textblock_section av-l2kkyz9j-cb6677fedcd8eb09aad9e695cf33d9ca '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Since then, however, the original producer of these parts has reduced its production capacity. For the manufacturer, this meant having to find a production alternative. And this is exactly where <strong>KOHLHAGE<\/strong> E-Tech comes in. The machines, the necessary tools and above all the know-how were available at <strong>KOHLHAGE<\/strong> E-Tech and so the <strong>KOHLHAGE<\/strong> Group company got the order.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For us, of course, this was a huge opportunity,&#8221; says Uwe Hellbach, project manager for stretch-bent parts at <strong>KOHLHAGE<\/strong> E-Tech. &#8220;We were able to demonstrate our capabilities and are now in talks about being allowed to produce further stretch-bent parts for other vehicles. Currently we already have six more prototype parts in customer sampling.
